Top Picks by Ben Lisi
We are pleased to have enlisted our friend Ben Lisi of RRL to compile our first Top Picks of 2022 for our upcoming Life in America Auction. Lisi has over 25 years of experience in the fashion and design industry, with a specific focus as an expert in branding for RRL's retail locations.
Ben is the chief merchandising officer for RRL (“Double RL,”) an elite western wear branch of the Ralph Lauren empire. RRL draws inspiration from early 1900s American workwear and army/navy clothing. RRL locations are decorated with early Americana pieces, including signs, lighting and antique displays– you get a sense of traveling back in time with each visit. Walking into any RRL store, one cannot help but notice the beautiful signs, showcases, and other antique displays used to merchandise the RRL clothing line. Lisi and his team have a long history of curating the look Ralph Lauren desires for RRL, making him a prime candidate for this auction's Top Picks. Our upcoming Life in America auction features over one hundred signs, as well as store displays, showcases, and clothing racks.
We met Ben on the fields of the Brimfield Flea Market twenty years ago. He and his crew were always on our VIP entrance list to get into our booth for early-bird shopping. Ben has sourced many of the items he has used in RRL’s retail locations from us over the years of our relationship with him. We are excited to feature him in this auction's Top Picks.
